The BioPak 240R is a closed circuit rebreather utilised in underground mining and tunnel rescue scenarios where rescue operation durations often exceed the working duration of standard open circuit breathing apparatus.
The BioPak 240R is an easy to use CCR that provides 4hrs of duration in the form of Co2 scrubbed, oxygen injected, recycled breathing air independent of ambient atmospheres. This CCR has the additional benefit of being user-serviceable upon completion of the BioPak 240R Benchman Training Course, a benefit that significantly reduces through-life costs and allows a high level of repairability independent of third-party service providers. Completion of this course provides the certainty of detailed pre and post-use testing and remedial works in addition to standard cleaning procedures allowed by comparable products in the market.
